Guild Charter

General Information

The Dominion of Heroes are a group of players on the Permafrost Server with a variety of interests and backgrounds. Many of us are older, hold jobs, and have families. We commonly share a desire for camaraderie, adventure, and enjoyment of the game. Our members help and encourage each other to pursue and achieve individual goals, as well as those of the entire guild.
We do not consider ourselves to be a large guild or what is commonly referred to as an "Uber Guild." Instead, we are a closely-knit group of friends who share each others' triumphs, trials, victories, and defeats. We aid others through instruction, general information sharing, mentoring, and crafting. In this way, we strive to contribute to the entire Norrathian community by fostering new players and characters to learn responsible and courteous practices in gaming. Our main interest is in having a good time playing Everquest II.
The Dominion of Heroes are always on the lookout for new members, either new to the game or alts of current members. We bar neither race nor class in our invitations to join our "Guild family".

A Dominion of Heroes Member is:
 Courteous, friendly, and helpful to others; maintaining a high level of honor and chivalry whenever possible.
 Honest and fair in all dealings.
 Mature in manner and comportment.
 Understanding and respectful of the opinions and beliefs of others.
We do understand that even Lancelot had his bad days; and everyone has a limit beyond which they will not be pushed. Maturity has nothing to do with chronological age and everything to do with attitude and behavior.

A Dominion of Heroes Member is not:
 Rude, abusive, or otherwise disrespectful in behavior or speech, either in character, out of character, or in any way. Do not use "in character" to excuse this sort of behavior toward another race, class, or player. Although gnomes are fair game icon_wink .
 Dishonest, deceitful, or disruptive.
 Argumentative to excess, without due provocation. There are polite ways to disagree and debate.
